Sunday morning Faith Formation

Below are brief descriptions of our Sunday morning faith formation activities.

Sunday School

Every Sunday during the school year at 9:45am for kids ages pre-K through 6th grade.

Our first Sunday will be September 15th.

Kids connect with the Bible story of the day with age-appropriate activities, music, and a child appropriate sermon. A great way to connect with other families for faith and life. Parents/caring adults can choose to stay with their child or attend worship. Kids will join in worship for the second half of the service, approximately at the end of the sermon.

The Sunday schedule looks like this:

Sunday School

Opening Song/Activity

Fellowship & Prelude

Pre-Readers Story & Activity

Readers Story & Activity

Confession & Forgiveness

Children’s Sermon

Offering/Peace, Communion, Sending

f3: Faith, Friends, Fun

5th and 6th graders may choose to attend F3 instead of Sunday School, beginning Sunday, September 15. Focused on developing friendships before Confirmation, F3 will go deeper into Bible stories as well as provide service-learning opportunities in a more "youth group" style environment. Contact Erica White for more information.

Children are welcome and encouraged to be a part of worship on Sunday mornings!

In order to support families as well as give opportunities for adults to help with Sunday morning faith formation, we will also be staffing our nursery on Sunday mornings beginning Sunday, September 15.

The nursery will be attended by at least one adult from 9:30-11am. Youth will also be able to assist in the nursery during this time. Contact Christine Lees if you are interested in volunteering.

Birth-3 Parent/child class

1st Sunday of each month through the school year, beginning October 1 at 9:45 am

Faith learning for your family together: A great way to connect with other families for faith and life. Class begins with adults and children together for songs and Bible story. Then adults separate (in the same room) to talk and support each other about parenting while kids are busy with supervised play.
