Worship

Join us for worship services at 8:30am and 10:30am on Sunday mornings and for fellowship time before and between worship services. During the school year (September - May), faith formation for all ages is offered between services. We share in Holy Communion at every worship service.

Our two services are usually similar to one another, but feature different musical groups each week. Musical groups include vocal and bell choirs for adults, youth, and children. See the music section of this site for more information.

During the school year, the 10:30 service on the third Sunday of each month is an Awakening Faith service where we experiment with different styles of music and new elements of worship. All ages are welcome and encouraged to attend and participate in this worship service.

Our liturgy changes with the seasons in the church year. All the information you need to participate in worship will be given to you in our bulletin, found in the hymnals (Evangelical Lutheran Worship), or be shown on the large projection screen.

Audio recordings of the sermons preached at Mount Calvary are available through our podcast on Stitcher.

Volunteers are a crucial part of our worship service. Click here for the schedule of Sunday morning volunteers. Note that this link will take you to a Google spreadsheet with a tab for each volunteer role.

We are in need of some folks to serve in volunteer roles such as ushers, greeters, communion assistants, and screen operators/recorders during Holy Week services (Maunday Thursday March 29, Good Friday March 30, and Easter Sunday April 1). If you can help, click here to go to the sign-up genius page and sign up.
