Patterns of Hope

Our 2027 Stewardship Campaign

Hope isn't a single leap. It's a pattern, built through small, faithful choices made again and again. This fall, we invite you to join us in exploring what that looks like, together.

Why We're Asking

Your giving is one of the patterns that holds this congregation together. Whether you've been part of Mount Calvary for decades or just found us this year, your commitment helps us plan faithfully and serve boldly, in worship, in care for our neighbors, and in the everyday work of being the church.

This year, we're asking two things of our congregation:

  1. A commitment of financial support. Our goal is to raise pledged giving by $30,000, an ambitious goal that helps sustain the ministry we share together.

  2. Your presence and participation. Beyond giving, showing up matters. The life of this congregation is made richer because you are here.gift to Mount Calvary's general fund for 2027. Please return by Celebration Sunday, October 11.

  3. Gifts and Abilities Form — Share how you'd like to serve with your time and talents, whether that's a one-time opportunity or an ongoing role.

  4. Simply Giving (EFT) Form — Enroll in electronic funds transfer giving, or update your existing details.

Our Theme

This year, Mount Calvary is exploring Patterns of Hope, drawn from Paul's letter to the Philippians, a letter written from a jail cell, yet overflowing with joy. Over three Sundays this fall, we'll ask what it means to build a life, and a church, around hope that doesn't depend on circumstances.

Sundays, September 27, October 4 & 11

  • Week 1: Look to the Horizon (Philippians 2:5-11) — Lifting our eyes to the bigger story we're part of.

  • Week 2: Where Are the Limits? (Philippians 3:12-17) — Being honest about how far we've come, and how far we're willing to go.

  • Week 3: Next Loving Act (Philippians 4:4-9) — Choosing the next right, loving thing, today.
