Worship with us outdoors or online - Sundays at 9:30 a.m.

We'll hear a message, worship with music, and pray together. In the event of bad weather where we can't hold worship outdoors, we will send out an email by 8 a.m. that Sunday to let you know if we're cancelling the outdoor worship service. You will also be able to call (651) 371-8877 and press 3 to see if worship is cancelled. Please read the guidelines below so that we can have a safe and meaningful place to gather together.

You can watch worship live on our YouTube channel, "Mount Calvary Eagan." This is designed for worshiping from home, whether it's just you or your entire family around a computer, TV, or your smartphone. For those of you who are watching on your own, remember that others around the world are listening and participating with you at the same time.

We will be hosting virtual Holy Communion. Gather whatever you already have at home to represent your Communion elements - bread or crackers, juice or water - whatever you've got! We recommend preparing these ahead of time, so that you can participate with us online. After we are able to meet again, our virtual Holy Communion will transfer back to in-person Holy Communion. We hope you join us for worship!

What will it look like?

  • Ushers will be available to direct traffic and pedestrians. You'll park in the parking lot and walk to the west side of the church building (along Rahn Road). You may also walk or ride your bike! Feel free to bring your lawn chairs or picnic blankets and some sunscreen, sunglasses, and hats as not everyone will have the luxury of sitting in the shade. For those of you who would like to remain in your vehicle, there is limited parking along the exit driveway.
  • We are unable to safely provide a bulletin or communion. We will have a pdf version of the bulletin available to you on our website. We recommend that you download it prior to coming. If you would like to participate in communion, please bring your own communion elements.
  • Online giving remains available but we'll provide offering collection sites.
  • After worship, ushers will direct cars to exit on Rahn Road. Please follow their guidance when entering or exiting.
  • If you're not able to join us this Sunday, you can always watch worship live on our YouTube channel.

What we're doing to create a safe place to gather

  • We're excited to see everyone in person and share in fellowship together. We would like to create a welcoming and safe environment for all ages. That being said, we highly encourage you to wear a mask and remain physically distanced from other households (six feet if you're speaking and 10+ feet if you're singing). This is out of love and respect for all of our members.
  • The church building will not be open to public use. No bathrooms will be available.
  • If you don’t feel well or if you have any symptoms of illness, including fever or cough, please stay home for the safety of us all.
