When you donate to the Mission Mount Calvary fund, you are helping to provide resources for worship and music, faith formation, partnership with the wider church, caring for our community of faith, and outreach to our local surrounding community. In-Person Giving
Giving by cash or check is available every week during Sunday Worship. Offering envelopes are also available if you wish to be sure your gifts will be properly credited to you. your giving with your attendance at worship services. Simply Giving
Simply Giving is an easy way to give electronically. Gifts can be given weekly, semi-monthly or monthly by electronic transfer of funds from a bank account. Download the Simply Giving form and return the completed authorization along with a voided check or deposit form to NaDyne Glidden in the church office for processing.
Bank ‘Bill Pay’ Giving
Most banks offer a FREE service called Bill Pay which is a convenient way you can also give to the church. By setting up the church as a payee in your bank online bill pay you can have a check automatically sent directly from your bank to the church and can also be set for reoccurring so that a check is automatically issued to the church on the schedule you select. To aid in the processing of these checks, please add your giving number and giving account on the note line.
Stocks & Securities
Gifts of appreciated stocks and securities can also be giving through an electronic transfer authorization. Your broker can electronically transfer your securities to Mount Calvary.
Thrivent Choice designation
If you have investments with Thrivent Financial for Lutherans, you may be eligible for directing designated Choice Dollars through Thrivent Choice. Eligible members can designate Mount Calvary Lutheran Church as the beneficiary of some of Thrivent’s charitable outreach grant dollars. Thrivent Action Team Grant
Every year, Thrivent members are eligible for two "Thrivent Actions Team Grants" of up to $250 for new ministry projects/ideas. If you have a ministry idea that you'd like to try out, we'd love to help you develop it. If you're a Thrivent member and you're willing to share one of your yearly grants with the congregation for new programs, projects, and ministry ideas, please reach out to pastor.kelli@mtcalvary.com.
