Advent Worship
Advent is a season of hope and preparation of Christ’s birth and looking forward to His promised return. During Advent, we light candles on the Advent wreath, adding one new candle each week, and hold midweek services to reflect on scripture, prayer, and hymns like O Come, O Come, Emmanuel. It’s a time to pause, prepare our hearts, and welcome Christ's light into our lives.

Lessons & Carols: Still & Joyful

We’ll meet on the third Tuesday of each month from 5:30–6:30pm at Bald Man Brewing in Eagan. Each month, we’ll dive into a new topic from the Brewed Theology series - everything from faith and artificial intelligence, to prayer, to how our beliefs shape the way we live in the world.
No lectures, no pressure, just thoughtful conversation in a relaxed setting. Everyone is welcome. Send a message to Katie Lintelmann (katie.lintelmann@mtcalvary.com) to let her know to expect you! Subscribe here to get Brewed Theology updates to know what expect for the upcoming month.

Thanks for helping our youth grow, learn, and experience a meaningful week at camp.
Blue Christmas
Blue Christmas is a worship service created for anyone who finds this season difficult. Together, one of the longest nights of the year, we hold space for grief, healing, and God’s steady presence. Even if your own year feels bright, your presence can be a gift to others in our church who need encouragement.
Christmas Eve Worship Services
Join us for festive Christmas Eve worship services at 2:00pm, 4:00pm (livestreamed), & 10:00pm (candlelit). We’ll celebrate the birth of Christ, featuring family-friendly music and a message, in each service.
Note: No worship on Christmas Day
Closed Christmas Day
The church will be closed on Christmas Day to allow staff to celebrate with their families.
Annual Finance Meeting
All members are invited to join us immediately following the 9:30am worship service Sun, Jan. 25 for our Annual Meeting. This gathering is an opportunity to recap the previous year and review our upcoming budget.
To help you come prepared, we will share information in advance and hold a Budget Meeting on Sunday, January 18, also immediately following the 9:30am worship service. This meeting is your chance to ask questions, discuss details, and gain a deeper understanding of the proposed budget for the upcoming year.
We encourage all members to attend, participate, and share in the conversation as we plan for the future of Mount Calvary together.
Women of the ELCA 2026 Triennial Gathering
We're thrilled to invite the women of Mount Calvary to the 13th Women of the ELCA Triennial Gathering, themed “I Am Worthy”—a powerful reminder from Psalm 139:14 that we are “fearfully and wonderfully made.”
This gathering brings together 1,500–3,000 women from across the ELCA for four days of worship, inspiring speakers, workshops, service projects, fellowship, and more.
Ready to be nourished in faith, lift up others, and claim your worth in community? Registration is open—stay tuned for details!
If you are interested in joining other Mount Calvary women, contact kelly.birkmaier@mtcalvary.com.
Veteran Village Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
Join the Minnesota Assistance Council for Veterans (MACV) for a ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrating the grand opening of Veteran Village!
You are invited to join MACV, Housing First Minnesota Foundation, Lennar, Mount Calvary Lutheran Church, and our valued partners as we celebrate the grand opening of Veteran Village in Eagan—Minnesota’s first multi-unit housing complex designed to support Veterans and their families served by MACV.
Parking is limited, so we encourage attendees to carpool when possible. The celebration will be held outdoors, and we recommend dressing appropriately for the weather.
The morning will include a live performance of the National Anthem, remarks from project leaders, an official ribbon-cutting ceremony to commemorate the grand opening, and guided tours of select units. Guests will also have time to connect with fellow donors, partners, and supporters who helped bring this project to life.
More details here. Please carpool & RSVP to help us plan this event.
