November Tuna & Canned Meat Drive
Give back and donate cans of meat and paper bags to support Dakota County families through The Open Door Food Pantry. Place donations in the Front Entry. Thank you!
Back to School Supplies Drive
Support Rahn Elementary students this August through the Back to School Supplies Drive! Drop off your donations at: Mount Calvary Lutheran Church on Sundays 8:30am - 11am, Mondays 10am - 2pm, Thursdays 10am - 2pm, or another time you’re at church! Everything will be given to Rahn students who need supplies.
Pack Snack Bags For The Open Door
We will be collecting donations for The Open Door’s Mobile Lunchbox until July 9 and then stay after worship on July 9 to help pack the snack bags!
June Collection for International Association for Refugees (IAFR)
IAFR is a Christian nonprofit agency devoted to the mission of helping people survive and recover from forced displacement. Throughout the month of June, we will be collecting items to assemble "Move-In Kits" for new residents of the Jonathan House. Jonathan House is the only Twin Cities metro-area housing program designed specifically for asylum seekers.
Each Move-In Kit includes:
Simple toiletries: Toothpaste, toothbrush
$50 gift card to Target or Walgreens for personal toiletries (these are the store options close to the Jonathan House sites)
New towel set: bath towel, hand towel, washcloth
New twin sheet set and comforter
Two new pillows
